OK, the other one ( http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3719 ) is a bit out of date as a number of dealers have left SEAT franchise, or standards have changed, some due to new management changes, so, positive feedback only please, post away. Keep it simple

(If its a SEAT specialist and not a franchise, please state).

Autoworld, Chesterfield

I can't recommend Autoworld enough.
Have had 2 services and warranty work done there now, every time I've had first class service. They're efficient and polite, and provide courtesy cars if you give enough notice.

At my last (20k) service, they:
1) gave me the new oil that is paid for but not used (you pay for 5L, only use 4.5 ish in service) and a velcro-backed fabric pouch to keep the bottle in, in the boot
2) washed the car
3) even oiled/greased all the hinges/door locks.

I was quite impressed by the attention to these small details, that no other dealer (Seat or otherwise) has ever done before...

They're in Chesterfield, Derbyshire (few miles off M1, between Sheffield and Nottingham).

Purchased car here and one service so far:

Friendly advise while purchasing with no pressure, really give you that Family run business feeling and not the faceles corporate approach.

Service was carried without any problems, car washed and hoovered inside, looked as good as new. Follow-up call to see if i was happy with the service i recieved

Loan car if required
The cost of the service was lower than advertised!

I would be very happy to go back again

Nice people, well informed (even on the old skool cars like mine!), quality service and sensible pricing. The only black mark against them is that since the demise of the franchised dealer in Bristol, they tend to be rather busy so I have to remember to book her in a couple of weeks before (rather than a couple of days before).

They're also the only Seat dealer out of the four i've used that have offered me a courtesy car.

I'm going to second that, only had the car a couple of weeks, but the experience of buying my LCR was kept very special, and I enjoyed it from start to finish, unfortunatley not my local dealer, but I'm going to try and get them to serivce it by making a trip to a "remote" work office.

Sales: Gave me an excellent price on the car, was friendly, and whilst waiting for the car to arrive, provided me with a lift home in a Seat Ibiza 1.2 after I came into sign forms etc.

When I received the car, it was spotless, and absolutely perfect, and smelt of 'new car' inside - which is more than can be said for the previous VW Golf I'd had.

The cars only a month old so hasn't been serviced yet, but I've ordered some extras to be fitted, and the parts/service department have been incredibly helpful (I turned up out of the blue today to chat to them and they showed me the parts, and without my asking sorted out that my new wheels, have yokohamas, instead of bridgestone :D ).

All in all I've been very impressed.

WJ King, Sidcup

Recently had my car returned from having the leaky door fix done, and found they had disconnected the radio. Tried entering the code from the handbook, to find out it didn't work. Went to Sidcup, and they found that my stereo is different to the one I have the handbook for (another Focus special, Camberley refused to help as they are now "nothing to do with Focus").

Anyway, back on topic, WJ King took the details on Saturday and then called me back at 10am on Monday with the correct code. No chasing them, no mention of charging, just really helpful. Will be going back there from now on.

Fantastic service from the Sales Team. Our local Audi dealer could learn a thing or two from them!

Only had the Ibiza a couple of months - so hope the Service Team are just as good.

As much as it pains me to recommend anything in Sunderland, the dealer was great throughout getting me Cupra R. Had plenty of help sorting out the finance, got a good price and got the car early. Only downside was no mats (gah!) and Seat switched finance deals on me, but thats pretty irrelevant and I got a free service for me troubles :)

Wait till it comes to service, then see if you feel the same - it is a seat dealership afterall ;)

Well, it's not gonna cost me nowt, and if they do a crap job (and put in crap oil) then they don't see the car or my money the next time it's due :D

Was a dealer, now a specialist. Excellent service. Always helpful and I can get a courtsey car. Never had a problem with them with the five services I've had there.

-----------

Unfortunatly Before Xmas Richard Closed for Good.

Now I'm looking for a 'new' dealership - Any Offers of good service in my area Newbury Berks/Andover Hants.

Cheshunt SEAT

I had 18 months of excellent service from Cheshunt SEAT when I had my Leon Cupra, then a year of hell (no lie) with a V*uxh*ll dealer, and am very happily back with Cheshunt SEAT again now.

Cheshunt SEAT are spot on for helpfulness, service, know-how and the overall customer experience.

Can also vouch for them, took my Aunty there to look at Ibiza's (she got a Polo in the end) ....but she went back with my cousins, 21 and 18 who are now both the proud owners of SEAT Arosa's. They were all very happy with the service & after sales :)

more and more SEAT's in the family, used to be Rovers in our family, now it seems like it's SEATs invading the driveways LOL
