Over the past 2 months, another LCR... Must have been standard lol:D 54 plate yellow in N.yorks

An evo v1 makkinen destroyed:D along with a newage STI, audi S3 and an RX8

A saxo badged vtr absoloutly raped me, along with a pulsar GTIR :(

Will be fitting 75hp jets next week to see how things go. 50hp has been good for about 18mths now at 400+lbft torque. Wonder how 75hp jettings will go?

Clutch is till going strong, slips now and again but at the moment very good. Standard engine components at 325ish bhp/400lbft still going strong!

Looking at the new focus ST now but will see how finances are upto xmas and decide in new year.

At the moment though really enjoying LCR:D

Anyone had any surprise encounters recently?

SAXO wtf can't be..:-o how the hell did that rape you??

Had ago with a 225 megane finally the other week, seen him come after me from the last set of lights we were at.
Wasnt to bad he was giving it beans could here the engine note came by the side of me and under took (cough) for a brief moment, was rolling doing about 40-50 had a car in front( on a dual carriageway btw) which I thought was going to kill things, guy turned of right thank god, to be fair I just missed clocking him one as I was making sure french boy over there wasnt going to pass, just one of those moments where you slow down and be beaten or speed up and hope you get to the empty space first, so I chose the sensibly route obilovlsy [B)] hoped in fact prayed the car in front will have turned off by the time a got there as this renault surprisingly was by the side of me, for a bit anyway. We ended up giving it full licks round quite a sharp bend a left him lots of room, came out of that little bit quick lol, and yea nailed it ended the dream for our french buddy. :D
Smoked him again at the next roundabout/t lights just to make sure my spanish love pump rocket smashed that french pasties arse ;)
To be honest apart from the odd saxo tools trying for a laugh not a lot of racing recently anyway, have to cool it when missis and son in car.
Wouldnt mind having a go with a VXR astra, yet to find one at the right time if you know what i mean.

Yes i know, i'll be all over saxosports club but it must have had a great whopping turbo/supercharger in it as it left me quite a bit. I would estimate it had well over 400hp. It flew like a ferrari/lambo, pretty scary really seeing as it only weighs 900kg:rolleyes:

Astra VXR is another ive been looking at:)

Cant really find any major benefits at the moment to swap the LCR for 1 apart from being a newer upto date car :)

Perhaps but it was 70-150 it left me and you need big bhp to do that!

PWR comes into play at lower speeds but at 70+ big hp would more than likely have an effect.

At 70+ i would have thought my 325ish bhp/400lbft would have been more than a match for a 250ish saxo?

GTIR also left me quite a bit and considering 4wd losses, it must have been pretty good under the bonnet especially on the move.

I have been whupped quite a few times now, there are some really quick cars out there at the moment

Audi S4/Saxo VTR (?) Pulsar GTIR and a cerbera have all had there wicked way with me so far:(

I got slapped by an Evo VII - quick car (it was pumping out some black smoke too so it may have been tampered with a bit)

a new golf gti tried it on with me but as soon as i floored it he gave up rather than get embarrased, same thing with a subaru wrx. left a clio 182 trophy limited edition thingy way back in my slip stream on th m/way , also had a guy in a new vectra gsi 3.2 try his luck, wasted him, although i would stress that his car was very quick. havn't come across a ctr at the right time with just me in the car but would love to give one a go

I had a run against a CTR, and tbh, he was on my ass, couldnt shake him in a straight line, although he did have the jump on me off the roundabout as i was pulling away in 1st, and he waas rolling down behind me....not a lot in it thou, just seemed he had that edge right at the top of the gear....Damn VTEC'S...

What else......

Oh MX5...distroyed...hair dresser car...and not much else really, pickings have been slim, oh had a go with a WRX estate yesterday...he backed off @ 80, but could'nt get in my boot if he tried...

AND MY FINAL THOUGHT...

Racing is not big and not clever....drive safe..drive sensible..and most of all...never let them see your bothered when they go past you, make it look like your just cruising..:)

Only encounter I`ve had so far is with a K plate Escort Cossie - we both came off the roundabout together but got held up by some traffic - sure enough he floored it but couldn`t shake me[B)] - he was going to go onto the motorway but chickened out at the last second and turned into a side street:p
