Recaro Speed??

Anyone ever seen / sat in some Recaro Speed's? Been looking at them as an option for the Cupra but need to know will they fit as typically Recaro's can be quite wide.

For those who've fitted reclining buckets what you got, any pictures?

I have cobra sidewinders fitted to mine, unfortunatley they came fitted to the car when i bought it so i can't offer a great deal of information with regards fitment.

My gallery seems to have gone down and i aint fixing it in at 2am so will try and sort some photos out for you tomorrow.

The Sidewinders although look well wouldn't be my first choice of seat. They don't hold you particularly well and with them being leather you slide around alot.

However since fitting a harness this has been reduced dramatically.

Cool, pics would be great... where'd you mount the left hand waist belt point on the harness?

Where the catch for the original seatbelt was fastend to the subframe of the seat.

Ahh cool, I was thinking about that idea, not sure if its the safest route to go down but even OEM manufacturers are guilty of doing it.

try konigs,they come with different width fittings iirc.and on a par with recaro in the quality dept

Is anything i nthere ford...i mean recaro seats....volvo engine.

Not that we can talk with our german engines!!!

im a big ford fan and was discusted by the volvo engine as it's no cosworth!!
but then my mate said what you have here is a focus with a t5 engine.
i then felt better about it lol

ok. back to oryginal problem. Can you fit the Recaro speed to ibiza or it is two wide ?
