Finally got my seats - second hand from a mate, retrimmed in leather (yummy)! Went to the Recaro website to get the subframe and..it's not there anymore.

So what do I need to fit my seat? Some people just say brackets, some suggest sliders and brackets. Nowhere really details what's what and so my head hurts.

As long as it's fit securely into my car and slides backwards and forwards with the good ol' fashioned "let people into the back" tilt!

Thankies :)

Hi,

The recaro site has never worked for me. Went to remove the seats but couldn't work out how to do it. A quick stop for a Hayne's manual showed...I missed the small bolt on the front of the seats! Oops!

Won't do anything til next week if I can't do it tomorrow night. I'm using 3rd party subframes with some custom welding. Will post pictures as I go :)

Well my recaro's tilt, as does the subframe - so no problems. They were in a Saxo and no problems there either. Not put them in yet, a colleague has left work so I am picking up the slack (so now work every Saturday/Sunday and 3 or 4 days during the week).
