Rear Windows

Hi,

I'm just after a little help, i saw a Mk2 gti in the local scrappy the other day that had been in a front end collision. On that i noticed that it had the rear windows with that latch on them so that they could open a little bit. Now my question is whether you would be able to fit those windows from the gti into a standard Ibiza so that the rear windows would be able to open slightly?

i do belive so, fella.. you'd need al the rubbers and latches etc tho'...

Brilliant So basically if i get most the bits off the car in the scrappy such as the windows, latches etc and then it would probably be best to go to the dealer and get the rubbers and seals, am i right?!

theres a thread about it. i think i remember that youll have to buy trim because of the latch on the inside, and welding to the bodywork... maybe wrong, ill have a quick look

If your goint to that much expence and effort, why don't you fit electric openers on them. You could get them off an E46 BMW coupe.

Would be much handier that having to pull over to open and close them.

Just a thought
