Looking for help with this one please...

It looks like the tubing has come off the wiper at the back. I was going to just remove the tailgate inside and plug it back in.

However after taking out the rear two screws it dont wanna move an inch. Is there something im missing or is it brute force time?????

:wtf:

Brute force time... a long reach flat head comes in handy as you pull the panel away from the boot, you can get the long reach to the slot "pop" clip behind the plastic....
It takes a fair bit of force and you have to be careful of where the force goes, as put too much force on it and the plastic creases and goes white... but as i said, long reach and careful brute force and it will come off...

If your car's still under warranty get the garage to do it,had the same prob last year and they fitted reinforced clips to the hose to stop the same happening again. Was also told they will only honour this once and use correct strength of washer fluid next time. What still gets me is if this is a known prob why dont they fit reinforced clips at the start.

Is it definitely in the tail gate? Because it normally goes first where the seatbelt goes in on the passenger side and this is a doddle to do - whereas the bootlid is a PITA.
The dealer did it for me last year and the trim has rattled ever since.

Yeah was pressing the lever and noticed the water running down the boot catch.

Im assuming the best place to start to pull it from is the lock end??

its royal pain in the arse to do but is possible!.. i took mine orf to sort a rattle out.. i found it easier to remove the lights in the boot door so you can see some of the clips... they are very hard to remove without spliting the plastic.... i sprayed them with some wd40 through the removed lights hole to help them slide out.. i dunno if it helped much or not..

there is a link to a page that shows the trim being removed on a post somewhere the writing isnt in english but the pictures do help!
