Rear seats - How to slide?

Hi,

For the life of me I cant figure out how to get the rear seats to slide forwards.

Can someone please explain.

I've an 05 2.0 Tdi Sport and im 50% sure the dealer demo'd them and not just the folding rear seats.

My car is the same as yours and does not have sliding seats, l thought they were introduced early 2006.

what they may have shown you was the different angles the back seat rest can be set at ?

I thought they where an option, My 2.0 TDI 55reg has them although i didnt get it from new !!

Phil is right in that your car will only have seats that you can alter the angle of the back totally useless if you ask me as your passengers would be sat bolt upright or leaning forward if you adjust them from the norm. The '06 model does have sliding seats and can be used to increase boot space.

My sliding seats have a metal rod handle at calf muscle height, running nearly the length of the seat.
At a guess I'd have thought they'd be fairly simple to retro-fit
