Rear Heated Window Fault

Whenever i swicth the heaters on to clear the rear window theres 2 line bars that never clear, which must mean that 2 lines a faulty. Any ideas how/if i can get them checked out and how much it would cost to get them repaired? Luckily its at the bottom of the window, would be well awkward it was in the centre!

hi i have the same problem but have my rear window tinted can i still use these repair kits?

nope, tint off, repair, re-tint.

i have the same prob as well tinted rear and two lines broken, i got them tinted in the summer and did not know it was like that, can not be f ed to get it fixed and re tinted. i do know halfords did a product which you could use to complete the circuit but i dont know how good this would be.

If you are using the repair kit that has conductive paint, use it very very thinly, used to thickly ie blobie it will cause a high resistance point that will possibly get too hot and could pop your glass! yes I have seen this once! But used thinly this stuff will repair rear screens well, I've fixed a couple.
