Hi, Could anyone tell me if putting a cupra rear bumper will be a straight swap onto my 1.6 sport? Just wondeirng before I buy, saw one second hand so thought I would upgrade for the colour code. Thanks.

The bumpers are no different except not being colour coded and the exhaust cutout, but if you have a different exhaust, its likely the bumper will be cut anyway

Ye it's a straight swap m8 I've put front and reAr cupra bumpers on my tdi sport. As said though it will look silly if there's no exhaust in the cut out. I had to get a back box aswell to fit the gap.

Well I've got the standard exhaust and don't really want to change it at the moment. So maybe it would be OK with a tip on the end instead to fill the gap?

a tip would work but the current bck box will need modifying to make it look good

you'll have to make the pipe strightish :)

sorry if that doesnt make much sense if had bit to much :p

wouldn't bother really.... just colour code your bumpstrip..... a lot of extra effort and money for nothing by the sounds of it

Might not be able to just put an exhaust tip on. Thats what i wanted to do as its cheaper but where the exhaust tip was meant that i couldn't put a tip on as it wouldn't have been in the right spot, so i ended up getting the backbox. Only cost me £25 though from a member on here.
