Rear Bumper Upgrade

Hi there, Im looking to order up bumper upgrades for my 1.2 52 plate Ibiza, Just from checking out the previous guides and pictures the exhaust on the face lifted Cupra bumpers is different to what i currently have.

Can I get away with sticking the new rear bumper onto my ibiza with no mods or tweaks?

- Also does anyone one know any red Ibiza's currently breaking in the south east :)

The bumpers across all the Mk4 models are interchangeable and will require no mods to fit.

As it's a 1.2 I'd guess the only difference you'd see is the exhaust tip appearing quite recessed within the exhaust outlet of the bumper. You could live with it or just change your back box to something akin to what the bumper came from (i.e. Fitting an FR back box if you were to fit an FR rear bumper) but it wouldn't be necessary for this to fit the bumper.

Look forward to the pics once you've fitted one!

Yep all ibiza Mk4 bumpers fit all model MK4's!

No selling allowed on here so you wont find anything on here!

Keep checking ebay, one went for £75 this week! Was in very good condition too. Just keep an eye out of gumtree/eBay/Pistonheads/other vag forums (www.edition38.com, vagcars.co.uk, vagoc.co.uk)

Sweet thanks for letting me know, I'm keeping my eye out for a set of used parts.

Then I intend to put up some pics of the build later on.

I've got a facelift cupra rear bumper sitting in my garage, long story short, put it on the car, within 1 week a friend hit me in the back and had to get repaired and resprayed, within that time of getting repaired I got a new car lol. The reflectors have been smoothed out, i preferred the clean look and if yours is flash red then you wont need a respray :)

let me know if you're interested at all :)

Wow that would be ideal tbh, My car is flash red so no respray needed.

Plus I Come from Brighton which is not massively away from Kent.

No problem buddy, the respray cost me 180 so anything around that price I'm happy to sell for (I'm not paying for the respray anyway my mates doing that) behind the bumper looks a bit weird only because of the filler/fibreglass i used smoothing out the reflectors :)

Aren't rear reflectors a requirement for a mot pass ?? I remember when I blacked out my xr2 lights years ago they failed me..

Just been though your readers ride thread looked good , you don't have the front bumper still by any chance?

unfortunately not :( managed to sell the car so quickly didn't have a chance to track down a standard pre-facelift one for the sale. I've got other random bits like the stubby aerial and the euro rear light lying around somewhere lol

On another note I used the black fabric spray paint from your readers ride thread to good effect good call on that one.
