Rear bulb types...

Quick post havent been on in ages....

Just need the types of bulbs that are on the rear of my MK4...

im looking to go fully LED across the board..

So i just need the bulb type for each bulb...

if you go onto autobulbsdirect there *find bulb for your car* system works really well, i priced up a full set of led's for the rear of my car and it came to about £60! :O so i thought ummmm nah

Hello mate Where have you been hiding..

I'm sure I read on here that someone replaced their rear bulbs for LEDs and it caused problems with his dashboard lights....I'm not 100% sure, I'll try and find the thread for you, if it's still on here

personally i wouldt do the indicators as they dont flash... id get some of the chrome type amber bulbs or the blue look bulb that flashes amber (which i have) and also whats the point as the bulbs are behind coloured lenses?

It can cause the coil light to flash on diesel powered Ibizas - petrol versions seem to be unaffected

i just want to change the red ones as the leds give off a crisper REDer light and look sharper from a distance....

i put LED stop and tail lights in the back of my ibiza and it caused the traction control light and epc light to come on. also when all the lights we off all 3 brake lights stayed glowing very slightly

I have been pondering this idea for a while also only thing that stopped me was id the outside diameter and height of the bulb would fit, I was behind a M3 and saw LED rear lights on that is what got me thinking it looked good.

I actually bought some LEDs for the rear lights over a year ago then read the above problems and they have not been on the car.

Yeh I don't get that why does it make any difference if it's diesel or petrol?!
