Hi everyone!
Just wondering if anyone can help...I am needing to replace both rear axle bushes on my 110tdi(year 2000).
There appear to be two different types available though, a "bonded rubber 72mm" type and a "hydro 69mm" type .
Unsure which one it will be tho  Does anyone know the part number for the one on my car??

I have been to the dealers but they gave a price of around £40 for the two. I have found them on the net for £23 for the pair but unsure which type to buy.

Cheers for any help...

This is the info from VAGCAT for the bush, its looks like its standard for all the models but not 100% sure on this. There are no sizes but perhaps give this number to the dealer and see what they come up with

Thanks for the reply. Thought it was worth a try to get them slightly cheaper, il probably go for ones from the dealer, less risk of getting wrong ones. The two i seen were on VWSPARES website.
The part numbers on there are 1J0501541C (Bonded rubber) and 1J0501541D (Hydro).

Not sure if you'll get this in time, but you can get LCR rear bushes too. AFAIK the rear beam is the same in all models so they should fit no probs. Sure they're bound to be a bit stiffer too.

The part number is 1ML501541, sorry couldn't get a price.

Hi everyone, this is my first post, site looks great!
Got a query with these rear axle bush's. The wife has a 2000 Ibiza and the rear bush on both sides are shot. Bought some from the dealer, they look like the bottom of the above pics, however the ones removed looks like the top one. Might have been given the wrong ones from the dealer, but they had chassis number and reg etc? anyway, I cant get the new ones in at all, and reading the related post the sizes are different, my question is that the one I have (bottom pic) is the smaller of the two according to the above info? any ideas and help would be much appreciated! :)

Thats a bit mental....

You can get the tool to do the bushes for £45, means you can do them with the beam still on the car.

so £45 for tool + say £30 for the bushes + a wee bit of your time at a weekend=

sorted bushes for waaaaay less than £200 and satisfaction of sorting something on the car yourself :)
