Hi, we collected our new Leon estate yesterday and feel little stumped, when it comes to the sir conditioning. We csn turn it on for the front of the car but, cannot get the vents in the rear to activate. Can anyone help? I have looked through the manual but it may as well be written in martian. Thanks for any advice as my dealer is closed for the bank holiday.

In the air conditioning menu (press the fan icon in top middle of screen) > 'rear' on side menu

It always works with the main air conditioning all you can change is the temperature, the same as the rear panel. If no air is blowing out make sure the vents are open

That menu can also sync and lock out the temp controls in the rear but yes, like all the other vents, if you slide them all the way to one side they will shut off.

I have the same issue when I tried to get rear working today but may be it's me (again). For me when I sat in back the rear control said 'off' pressing buttons did nothing, in the 'rear' sub menu in Infotainment all 'rear' options were grey'd out touching them did nothing. I got it working in the end but not sure how. Does the rear only work in manual aircon mode and not auto which would make sense? Does it actually detect if the rear vents are open and if not set it to 'Off'?

Cheers

To "activate" rear AC please follow:
- go to rear AC menu (here you can see gray rear control buttons)
- tap on the numerical temperature value of the driver's side (on the top bar)
- tap "SYNC"
now the rear control functions should return
