earlyer today i went to get my wheel balancing checked and my wheels switched from back to front etc because i was feeling a vibration thru the wheels when i was going fast and breaking .. but when we took the front wheels off there was really bad wear around the inside edges it was so bad it was thru to the wire.. got it booked in on monday to check tracking and camber... any one had any expierience of this ..or any idea what might be wrong .. it is original suspension:help::help:

Had exactly the same thing three days ago (see my new suspension thread). Camber and toe were out but only toe was adjusted as the place couldn't figure out how to adjust the camber. Spoke to my mechanic afterwards and he seems to think the camber is not the problem.

I had the same front tyre wear issue as the OP about a year ago - had front tyres changed and full 4 wheel alignment check, the toe was way off so had this adjusted. I recently had the car at the garage having some work done and asked him to check the front tyres - he seemed to think the tracking needed doing again.

Would the tracking repeatedly going out indicate worn bushes?

I had bad wear on the inside of my front tyres all i did was adjust the TYRE PRESSURES to what they said on the fuel door. Obviously the previous owner never checked them. they were fine after that. Since having new tyres fitted to the front and keeping the tyre pressures at correct pressure they have worn evenly. i had it tracked later on in the year for peace of mind and it wasnt out at all!!!

the rear bushes on the front wishbones were the main culprits on mine - the bush almost operates in the wrong axis, so wears quickly ..
