You say 225 45 17 94h then say it's a v rated tyre? either way H is rated to 130mph and v is 149 so unless you plan to hit those speeds you will be fine.

You need to fit tyres that correspond to what the manufacturer recommends, load and speed rating wise. If not, you run the risk of invalidating your insurance, or worse. Speed ratings are not just about the maximum possible attainable speed of your vehicle , but the way it accelerates, handles etc. Same applies to the load index. 94 is the load index, H is the speed rating.

94 is the load rating H has no relation to the load rating typically the load rating is placed just before the speed rating so if the tyre says 94H it is more likely a H rated tyre.

Yes there is more to the speed rating than just max speed but w to V rated tyres is not the end of the world.

V is 149mph rated. W 168mph. Depends what was originally specified. If V , W is fine. If W, V is not suitable and in the event of an accident could lead to invalidation of insurance.
