"thougt i should introduce myself ,bought a nice red leon cupra r yesterday and discovered this site and i must say the site has loads of info and looks really helpfull , and as for my new car luv it , used to own a mk1 octavia vrs and this feels miles quicker . however think a coil pack is on its way out or a dodgy plug as theres a missfire when its given any beans feels like it hits a brick wall also tick over doesnt feel smooth ."

update took all the plugs out and they all look fine and are the correct ones . smelt each coil pack for burning smells and they are all ok ,however there codes end with 115L.
more importantly unplugged the maf sensor and took the car around the block and no more missfire / juddering on boost. could the maf really cause that kind of symtoms like juddering and missfiring

the maf can cause all sorts of issues - best bet is to get a member local to you to vagcom it for you - I would have done but my vagcom cable died :(
