thought I'd make my own little project thread so that everyone can see the transformation from wreck to stunning :)

Well when I first bought the car it looked like this, blantent motor bike accident.

We got the car delivered on Friday morning and started work on it about 7pm Friday night, we stripped it as much down as we could.

We took the bonnet, bumper and slam panel out in one night which wasn't to bad going really.

We only managed to take the wing off yesterday as well we were being a bit lazy. Had another go at it today, had to bash a few bits into shape and pull up the inner wing. Managed to get the bumper bar and slam panel on today. We also drained the coolent and topped that off and changed the oil which was a mission in its self.

It now looks like this

cool will be nice to see it at the end. take it its just new front slam pannel and body work so no welding and things like that, but nice to see you getting on with it right away. ive still got a classic that needs rebuilding lol been in garage for 6 months and not really touched it!
good luck with it!

Good project, good luck ;)

D'ya know definitely if it was a motor bike accident? Looks more like whoever was driving hit a sign post doing the obvious damage, and the sign on it smacked the windscreen in the corner?!?

I'm proud of my work!

OUCH!

can't c the prints in the bonnet, hope that person wasn't too badly hurt in which case. Just a strange shape to the damage from what I expected of a bike vs car accident.

I'll stick to IT instead of detective work :D
