radio reception is crap

My radio reception is crap, anyone any ideas to solve this on a 98 Ibiza tdi (bee sting ariel)? as its driving me mad.
Also anyone help with trying to get permanant live to stereo, as i only have ignition live?

Its the bee sting aerial that's your problem. Its because they are made to look good, but have crap transmission. Remove it and try a normal aerial and hopefully you should see a good improvement in reception.

Migs half way there, they are crap. They have an amplifier built into the base of the ariel and after years of water and crap getting in there they give up. Mine was £50 fitted at a local radio place, sure you could pick them up cheaper and fit it yourself, but i have been told its an arse to get the old ones off.

As for the permanent live swap the yellow and red cables on your harness adaptor round and your away.
