Afternoon,

My Radiator (mk3 cupra) has a hole in it, and I need to get it replaced.
Does anybody have ideas on what I should expect to pay?
An independant garage is saying £126.66 for the radiator.. I can only find them on the web for around £50 which is making me think that either I'm searching wrong, or I'm being had.

Anybody shed some light for me?

p.s. is replacement going to involve bumper etc removal?

I had mine replaced a few months ago. I let westec sort it out and im sure the rad came to over £100.
I would think the bumper would have to come off. Will make your life easier if you do anyway. Easy job to take the bumper off.

Hmmm... mine was steaming last night too

Group buy on radiator replacement anyone?

I'm happy with my £127 quote then I think. I was probably on a VW/Golf parts site anyway. I've been told the extra AC makes the radiator less standard anyway, now have to wait 2 days for the part.
