race diagnostic gauage readings

The BHP output on the engine power is showing 245. is this at wheels or flywheel. this is on the race diagnostic air vent gauge.

i would take it its flywheel power but anybody can confirm

afaik, the liquid guage works out bhp readings from the airfllow past the maf sensor, thats what jim told me, wether this is at the wheels or flywheel i dont know. but its accurate on mine, so whatever the mapper told you your bhp was then thats what it measures it by.....

if it is from the maf it is most likely to be at the fly; i assume it just multiplys by a factor (1.3 normally) to convert g/s to an approximation of bhp.

yeah, thats right...

but its an accurate estimation on my part.

its as accurate as the (a) estimation of 1.3xvalue, and (b) the health of the MAF sensor itself
