R32 Seats

Hi guys does anyone know if the R32 seats are a straight swop for the LCR seats or is there fettling to be done. Jusk asking as would like to get some in LCR meterial and patterns but like the bucket effect.

I've just been told that the R32 seats should drop straight in as they use pretty much the same subframe as the rest of the MK4 Golf range :D

Ill have to have a look at the price then get them covered like the original LCR seats think they would look sweet.

£600 a seat is seriously OTT! You could buy some very nice, non-Golf (i.e. aftermarket) seats for that with subframes in your own choice of seat trim and colour. You'd be mad to pay £1200 for a set.

True i do like the Recaros tho and i think the R32 seats would hold you well plus your kinda keeping the OEM look kind of :shrug:

why not try and source some LCR Recaro's then and no need for the retrim, must be some somewhere, fast cars are prone to ending up in scrap yards from time to time.
