According to some other forums just been reading up on sounds like cat is knackered.

Type the first code and description into google.

That code on the 1.8t usually comes up when they run a high flow cat(s), it's why stage 2 code usually disables the 2nd sensor.

So it might be the cat(s) are knackered, or it might have sports cat(s) on it.

You could try that mod that appeared on vwvortex where they space the sensor out from the exhaust so it reads less nasty stuff - I think it had limited success though.

My Ibiza has this and everytime I clear the code within a couple of days is back on. Got a Milltek sports CAT on it this could be the problem.

Just read this too..
Cat efficencly below threshold is usually an exhaust leak by the post O2 sensor, and it's usually at the clamp that connects the down pipe to the rest of the exhaust. If there is even a small leak, then under deacceleration there is a pressure gradient that is created. And, then the air outside is then "sucked" back in to the exhaust system for a split second.

Try tightening the exhaust clamps, know that mine is slightly blowing from the cat to centre section.
