got part
got guides
got tools
got beezasport

but guides are conflicting, some say depress the pedal, remove old switch, insert new, and let pedal slowly return before clip back into full place and connect harness

other says DO NOT do this, leave pedal alone and just direct swop switch-then just to press the pedal 3 times BEFORE you connect the harness back up.

so two opposite guides in pressing the pedal respects

anyone for anyone?
haha

Never used a guide when I fitted mine, however having just read the guide linked below and I don't know how the feck I never shagged the new switch!

I think I just moved the pedal as and when it was in my way, and I certainly didn't pull the plunger out before installing the switch but the brakes work fine and come on as soon as I touch the pedal, guess I was pretty lucky.

dont have to press pedal to remove the old one. press the pedal in a bit when putting the new one in and when its in place, let the pedal come the whole way out.
