Quick...need Help Asap Please

Hi, im currently bidding on these angle eyes on ebay -

THE PROBLEM IS - Is that they dont come with the bulbs. So i phoned up Potn.co.uk and they said that i SHOULD NOT bid on these lights as they retail at £230 with bulbs, and for £145 they must be ripping me off, POTN said they are probably for left hand cars or the bulbs are really expensive.....
So please can some people have a look at the link and see what they think before 10:00pm tonight, tell me if they look genuine. I did email the Seller asking what make they are as it does not say in the description, and the seller just replied with "I dont know". Thanks. Graham

the bulbs are normal h1 bulbs! (for both dipped and full beam!)

and the sidelights/angel eyes use normal w5 wedge shaped side light bulbs!


so potn are talking rubbish!


also i would not waste your money on these lights, unless you do a HID conversion!


i beilieve i was the first person on scn with a set of chrome RHD projector lamps and i didnt like the look of them at all on my black LCR and also they were absolutely sh*t at lighting up the road. so i decided to get them in black BUT i fitted a HID kit to them which vastly improves the light output!


as i have said... do not buy them unless you are goin to do a HID conversion OR unless u dont drive your car at night!

ok cool, cheers for your help jamie. yes the black ones look alot better, i think the cromes will look a bit cheesy, bit of a waste of money, same with the lexus lights a did have, they were soooo cheeeesy!! Perhaps i'll wait till i have the £230 and buy the black ones! cheers!

but like i say dont buy these cheap projector headlamps unless you are doing an HID conversion on them!

Nice, they look really smart!! What do you mean by HID Conversion?? I thought HID ment changing the lights as well?? Can you give me some details on HID conversion then please. Thanks

HID = High Intensity Discharge (its wat expensive cars and more modern cars have... gives that zenon look!)

its a completely different system which replaces the standard bulbs... google HID and have a look in the group buy section... i think theres a GB on a HID conversion in it!

also have a search for wat i and robdon did (thats if u r goin to do the conversion!) because its a right ball ache to fit the HID bulbs into these cheap projector head lamps! you have take the lights completely apart to drill the holes bigger!

I really didnt think i needed or wanted to mod my LCR. But now I have no choice. They look amazing to me. I have to get some.

Hi alright. You said you got your H.I.Ds for £150 for the kit, do you know where abouts you got them from because the lowest ive found them for is £240? cheers. Graham
