Morning all!

saved some pennies up for REVO for my pretty much standard mk3 (baileys DV30 and jabbasport induction kit being only mods)

i'm also after an aftermarket exhaust but cannot decide which to go for, so i was wondering is it worth waiting until i have an aftermarket exhaust fitted before i get REVO or will it not make any difference if it get the remap first and then get an exhaust after this when i've made up my mind on which to get??

any comments much appreciated!!

also while im here typing, i was thinking maybe a miltek cat back system but read a lot of people have the turbo back systems, and also read a few posts about the blue flame systems. just wondering where people have bought their's from??

any help plz people?

cheers, Sean.

wont make much difference whether you get it before or after a remap, a cat back system shouldn't make much difference if any too. for the money you'll see more bang for buck with the remap

But if it's having a flash map it will make no difference if he gets the exhaust first or the remap will it?

i detect the old generic vs custom map debate however....

the ecu is adaptive, so even with a 'flash map' sensors can detect and adapt timing, fuel delivery and boost control after a remap, so adding a downpipe and sports cat system is beneficial. its jus not as great as having the remap

If yours is standard you are happy with it, you are gonna have an orgasm once it's remapped! It feels awesome, it is the best £500 you can spend imo!

Id highly recomend Prosport in Heaton Mersey manchester/stockport, or Quattronics, Quattronics did mine, but if they weren't giving a 10% discount at the time i'd have gone prosport, they specialise is subaru's but also do VAG cars. I allways trusted them with my scooby. http://www.prosport.ltd.uk/

Did you not give prosport a call, think there closer, Quatronics are great too, thats where mine was done. if it wasn't for the 10% discount i'd have gone prosport just because i familiar with them and tere closer but they are both very knowledgeable.
