Question for the bluetooth experts out there

Hi there!

I have a new Leon Stylance with factory Bluetooth and I have a couple of questions for the more knowledgable.

Does anyone know how to delete the phone book from the car once it has been downloaded from you phone? I want to tidy mine up because when I changed phones there are now loads of duplicates.

Also when I changed form a Nokia to a Sony Ericsson people are having problems hearing me at the other end, my voice is apparently quite quiet now. Anybody got any ideas on how I could adjust the microphone volume?

Any help would be appreciated ;)

How do you add the phone book to the car?

I have got a Nokia 7610 with the contacts stored on the Sim and cannot get them to show up on the little screen in front of the steering wheel.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Hello!

I am not too sure to be honest. When I first got the car the bluetooth was not working at all. The car could not find any phones, apparently a valeter had knocked off the bluetooth aerial off with a hoover or something as it is under the passenger seat.

When I got this fixed and paired the car to the phone and put the pin number in it just asked me if I wanted to download the phonebook. If it does not do this then I am not sure if your phone is fully compatible.

The problem I have is that as I have all the numbers saved to my phone with several numbers for each contact instead of getting "Dad home, Dad mobile" etc I just got "Dad, Dad1, Dad2, Dad3" which was quite confusing. I then converted the numbers back to the sim and changed them to the appropriate names. They have now loaded back up but the old ones are still there so I now have about 6 contacts for every person
