Question about XPERIENCE trim

Hello, new user here.

I'm currently considering getting a used 2023 Seat Ateca. It's listed as "XPERIENCE" trim (in my country there were 4 trims up until 2024, namely: Hola, Style, Xperience and FR. From 2024 on, I believe, there are only 3 trims: Hola, Style, and FR).

What I'm concerned about is that I don't see the "XP" logo on the steering wheel, which is what the Xperience trim should supposedly have. I'm attaching 2 photos for your reference.

Are there any "telltale" signs that would suggest that this is actually a different trim than what is being advertised?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Do you know the VIN? Have you got any more pictures?
Unfortunately I don't have the VIN...I can try to obtain it in the next days.
In the meantime I'm attaching a few more pics - I hope it will help!

PS.: are there any giveaways in particular where you could tell one trim from another?
PS2: is there a way to tell if this one in particular has a heated windshield (Climacoat - it seems Xperience trim should have it by default?) and ambient lighting?

The Xperience took over from the Xcellence which was the top of the range at launch. The FR is the pretender, marketing hype for the younger person. Saying all that countries can vary what's in the offering. As East Yorkshire indicated above only the build codes will tell you what's in it from the VIN. You can do your own check using the VIN lookup in Erwin, 7 Euros an hour. Pinned thread. Sometimes the build codes you need a skilled eye. Basically it shows what the system parts of the car are. Generally the Vin is on the windscreen panel. You can take a crafty photo and look it up. There were free vin lookup services that come and go using hacked parts catalogues. You book mark them when you find them... they can be old, Russian sites.

Yes their redesigned system, but dealers should print off the build codes (PR codes) if you ask nicely.

I see the redesigned system does give some free material, then back to charged as before. More free than before.

Interesting thread here:

Ozzie hitting Ozzie legislation on EVs but using a VPN to the UK and get what they were after...

Expect taking the VIN to PR Code lookup being taken out of it, was to frustrate those Russian sites that come and go that access the parts catalogue to redirect you to sales.... or something like that. Tightening to retain income.

Also you might find this Google of use, but as said different countries can have the cars built differently where the build codes come in but the same model name. They also get misbuilt as mine did... probably why I get preoccupied with build codes.

Mine was built for the European markets... probably Seat UK never double checked the spec the factory built. Customer services knew they had been misbuilt, a collection of them across the UK.

You might find images on the Google to tally.
