Question About series/parrallel wiring

Ric 2001

Need an ID-ten-T form
At the moment I have a Rockford Fosgate P3002, 2 Channel amp, Running front composites, which I think are running at 2 ohms, then connected a sub to the amp also, via bridge method, which again I think is running at 4 ohms.

Is this called Tri-mode & Mixed-Mono mode? Guess this is in serise wiring? Do I need to be carefull of what sub to attach to the amp, read something about vocal coils or are these standard bits within a woofer?

Voice coils? These are on every sub woofer some will have single and some will have dual and it will effect how it should be wired to show the correct ohm load to your amp.

I would of thought that your components are running at 4ohm and the sub at 2ohm rather than the other way around. And yes it is called Tri Mode generally.

That says the minimum impedance that the speakers should run at for the amp. The wiring of the speakers and subs will determine the impedance that the speakers/sub will run at not th eother way round. :)
