ok i am turing 23 soon, and i want a new leon at some point in the future but it will be second hand

i really want to get the car in the next year or so, as i currently have a mk2 1.4 which i love but i want something with a bit more space and power

i love the leon but after looking i doubt i can afford the insurance:( , made a claim just over a year ago so i have zero no claims so i think its outta my reach but i am not sure

if i waited another year so i had about 2 years no claims, i would be on better money then anyway. would the extra years no claims make a huge diff, cause if i got one with my current situation with 1 yrs no claims i am looking at about 1800 quid cheapest on the insurance

or should i just go with the tdi 110 and chip it and so on, the only thing i am unsure on is the handling of the 110. as from what i have read the cupra r is fantastic, and the tdi 110 i not quite as good

a remapped 110 (should see 150 brake at least) with decent suspension would handle pretty well too mate, you can always add/upgrade roll bars at a later date. the 20vt engines will knock your insurance sky high.
