Is Quantam Synta Gold Oil any good for a remapped Ibiza Cupra? Does anyone else use it?

Yes it is. It's fully synthetic and meet all the VAG recommendations. Will be going in mine when I get it serviced in a few weeks.

yep good stuff, just used it on mine to do an interim oil change, 30 quid from GSF for 5 litres matey

Sorry Bill, do you mean for any 1.8t right way round engine, the filter will fit...

so basically the one my mate gets for his audi a3 1.8t quatty then!

you can get a mann filter from GSF 3-4 quid or so, would imagine the filter for the audi would be the same

I think the viscosity is 5W-40.
