Anybody who wants DAB radio in their Leon should seriously consider the Pure Highway 1, I fitted one yesterday and find that it's the best solution for adding DAB to the Seat audio system, it's software upgradeable (via USB), can be used as a portable DAB using batteries, and has excellent reception both in car and in pocket, beats the pants off the Revo DAB I had in my Stilo, and only £69.99, so easy to fit too.... Pics to follow shortly....

Where did you order yours from? I got mine from Superfi online, mainly because they're local to me, ie Nottingham, had to wait 3 weeks or so, but well worth the wait. :D

I think they're telling you porkies mate, I know Superfi have stock, therefore Pure have too, don't e-mail umpire dickheads, phone them and demand a refund under the sale of goods act, quoting rules of distance selling, should get an instant result, don't let them fob you off, it's your money after all....

Ah, it's removable, battery powered, and fits in my pocket nicely, so I've got DAB wherever I go, and I don't leave it in the car... And I don't know of a sat nav that has an internal aerial stuck on the screen, that won't deter the pikeys, but at least they won't get my radio...

Mine arrived from Superfi yesterday after ordering earlier this month. They are getting stock every now and again and fulfilling orders on a backorder list.
Unfortunately mine arrived with a faulty car charging lead but after speaking to Pure today they are sending a replacement and want me to send them the faulty one as they are concerned due to it being a brand new product.

I used it on batteries to try it and the reception was far better than the 2 personal DAB radios we have. I wasn't sure it would work off the aerial without the proper power from the car but I think you are saying it does so will hopefully hoot it up tonight.

EDIT: Igor - I see you have not mounted the aerial in it's suggested position of right near the top of the screen. I guess it is still ok where you have put it as that looks better to run it down the pillar?

To be honest, I got the best reception there, anywhere else seemed to get breakup/digital noise, the http://www.revo.co.uk/ dab I used to own plain refused to work with an internal aerial, and was poor on external too, but this is excellent....

Looks a neat install, but not a mad fan of visible or trailing cable myself.................Personally i would of looked at installing with cable through A pillar or head lining.........but, as this appears to be a portable unit that may not be possible of course.....

I got mine this weekend after a 6-7 week back order from HiFiBitz (cheaper, but a 60 person wait list :-o )
I've got my bracket suckered to the useless triangular window to my right, and have the aerial draped over the dash at the mo. as need a good 10-15 mins to make sure I fit it correctly on teh windscreen, I've rushed too many things before and then its nagged me forever, so this time take it slow.
I did a run from Swindon-Bristol last night down the M4 and found it dropping signal on a few occasions.... hope that it'll be better when I fix the aerial correctly
