Hi there,
I hope someone could help me out and tell me how I can fix my car.
When I start driving 1st gear is fine 2nd gear is fine, once you get to 3rd and let the revs build up all of a sudden the car shudders as if its loosing power, change into 4th and the cars fine again, let the revs build up in 4th and it happens again.
I scanned it with VAG-COM and these faults came up:
Vag-COM Version: Release 409.1-US
Control Module Part Number:6K0 906 032 AA
Component and/or Version:1.8L 20VT EU3 0002
Software Coding: 10500
Workshop Code: WSC 00000
3 Faults Found:
17963 - Charge Pressure: Maximum Limit Exceeded
P1555 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16684 - Random/Multimple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16688 - Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
P0304 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
If someone could shed some light on what I need to replace that would be great, Ive tried doing a bit of research before posting this and from what I can see it could be my 4th coilpack but Ive had one of these go before and the car seemed to die but the car is still running properly and starting with no issues.
Also my temp gauge is going up and down all the time (never over half) It will warm upto quater the take ages to get to half then it will go back down to quater, Im assuimg this is my thermostat but could it be due to these faults?
