Ive mapped about 34 of these this year all with no problems (so far)

What problems are you having OR is this just a general question ??

The last one i made/rolling roaded did over 50bhp and could of held well over 400nm of torque ,
BUT as you all know the weak point is the clutch so i had to lower the torque to cope with the power.

No problems with mine, done 35K since having it done (including several trackdays and going down santa pod a few times), clutch is a little worse for wear at the moment though.

Should you always change the clutch when you get a remap? Can't the standard one cope? Should it be an uprated clutch or just a brand new one?

You dont always have to change the clutch, only if the remap cant be adjusted to lower the torque so it doesnt slip so much. The standard one can cope with a not to higher torque mapping, if its remapped to the best then it will make the standard clutch slip, if this is the case then a new uprated clutch should be fitted.
