I posted on here last week as my Xenon headlmap isnt working (Drivers side, main beam). I ordered a new unit as it had to come complete with gas chamber but its still not working!!

Any ideas what it could be????

Thought it could be the fuse but when i checked I couldnt make out what fuse it could be....bit confusing for a girly like me!

Really fed up of this now!

The lighting fuses are in the engine compartment, but I think the lighting circuit is split left/right. So if it was the fuse, the whole of the drivers side lighting wouldn't work.

Could possibly be the ballast unit.
If you follow the bulb wiring back from the bulb/ignitor, it should connect to a box. This is the ballast.

I haven't actually seen the layout of factory xenon headlmaps, so I don't know where the ballast is positioned.

The ballast for OEM xenon lights is on the bottom of the light unit, it would be a bumper off, light out job to access it unfortunately.
