Problem with wipers

Ok so I have had this problem for a while, that is when I go over 50 and turn on my wipers, the passenger one stops half way through a wipe and the drivers carries on.
I found the problem to be the connecting arm that moves the passenger side wiper, comes off.
Easily fixable, just slips back on, but VERY annoying as it has started raining heavily again.

So my question is, does anyone know what the part number is so I can phone SEAT and order one, because the scrappies around here don't have Ibizas... :wtf:

I might try a scrappy further south as there are alot of Ibizas breaking on ebay.

Got exactly the same problem but mines on the drivers side! This is more annoying cause youve got to stop when its raining to sort it! Lol

Are you using aero wipers? Think this maybe the cause of mine cause they seem heavier than the regular wipers.

One cheap fix may be to drill through the ball socket and arm and fit a M5x12 screw with a nylock nut. Maybe a bit of a butcher but thats what my mate done to his dads van that was having the same problem.

Nah the problem was when I had just the normal wipers on it. I now have aero ones. Have to say seemed to have been doing it less.

I've botched mine with a tie rap and it's holding... for now!
I was thinking about drilling too, but had a look at it and it seems that the ball and the rubber bit that the ball goes into seem to be replaceable... so might phone up SEAT or go in and see.
