problem with remapped ibiza

Hey, bought my ibiza few months ago when the guy said it was standard but i have been told it has been remapped and also got miltec cat back exhaust and now ive added FMIC last week. The past 4or5 weeks the car has been going into limp mode(im sure) pretty easily. Has anyone got any ideas what it could be? I dont know what map is on the car?

could be many things leading to limp mode - hope this is not a long journey for you as it is for me - probably best to find someone with VAG COM so they can scan for errors - if you do a search in this forum, there are shed loads of things you can find under limp mode -

cheers mate i will have a look! Will have to get someone with vag com to do a check on it as its pissin me off as its running great with the fmic now (when its not in limp mode)

What intercooler did u fit mate also i have vag com located in edinburgh(penicuik) to be exact if u need a shot give me a shout.

got laguna fmic fitted mate. I think my mate has vagcom in his garage that he works at. But if he hasnt i will give you a pm soon as i want to sell it early next year. Thanks mate

no bother mate.So how hard was it to fit the laguna i/c need one soon as i have done a lot to the car recently got it running aat 207bhp @212 lbt-ft and that was at 5180rpm.

a mate of mine fitted it, think he took about 2.5hours. He said it was pretty easy. He just used the fitting guide from here and said it was stright forward. Will have to get pics sorted...just not had time and also the weather is **** just now

yeah looks central enough to me lol. Just had to trim the towing eye. Ohh forgot to say some impressive figures you got

still on the standard k03 with an APR Stage 2 map and a few other bits and pieces mate got it r/r at Star performance today and as far as am aware his rollers are pretty accurate.However need to get the FMIC fitted soon.
