Problem when accelerating at speed in 6th gear

This has happened a few times now and i've only noticed it in 6th gear.

It happens when cruising along on the motorway or dual carriageway at around 70mph or so in 6th gear... When accelerating from around 70mph the engine judders/hesitates like a miss fire feeling, no lights on the dash or anything.

I don't have anything for fault reading but the car is under warranty so will be phoning the dealer on Monday to get it booked in to try and find the cause.

Any known causes for this on the 2.0 CR engines?

Hopefully nothing major, at least it's got a 6 month warranty with the Seat dealer.

Is it possible this issue could be linked to the DPF? Quite a few results on Google of people mentioning juddering on regen cycles?

Mines does this as its sitting just as the turbo boosts, once you get over 2k revs just pulls like normal? Maybe just the car labouring?

The engine wasn't labouring as it was still doing it even when the engine speed was above 2k rpm with the turbo on boost. Didn't feel pleasant at all so I backed off and it stopped.

Mine did this all of a sudden one day last week, just after I had filled up with fuel,at first I thought it was bad fuel but it did seem to clear itself I wonder if it was doing a regen as it has been ok since.

Never had a diesel with a DPF so I can't compare to anything how the car behaves whilst doing a regen. Whatever it was I didn't like it!

Me neither I started to doubt myself and wondered if I had put petrol in by mistake I thought it was going to die on me.

I think the DMF may be on its way out as when I started it this morning there was rattling/knocking noise coming from the engine, sounded like the DMF and a very similar noise to my vRS before it had a new clutch & DMF fitted... Not sure if it could be connected to the issue I posted the thread about. Going into the dealers on Thursday morning so they can have a look into the juddering, will also mention the noise I heard this morning...

Exeo was in the garage yesterday and they told me the juddering was the DPF trying to do a regen... They've carried out the regen and it's now down to 0%. Probably won't need to do a regen cycle for a little while so will see if the juddering continues.

They also think the rattling/knocking noise I heard starting from cold was related to the DPF but I'm not sure about that, will just have monitor it as I think it's the early symptoms of DMF failure...

how is it going since the garage visit,i think the juddering on mine is the regen,it only does it once every 500-600 miles or so and doesent last long but I only notice it on the motorway at 70mph,what did they say about the regen?
