Due to me being a tw@ today and not looking where I was going in a car park, does any body know how much for a new rear Cupra R bumper is? Also if purchased from the dealer, does it come just primed or the colour to match?

Also the rear lights too, I'm just needing to replace the far right hand cluster.

Just before christmas too...effort...

Cheers

I would have thought that a second hand bumper would be the best option i think a stealer one is about £350 primed you should get a second hand for about £100-£150 then paint £60-£100 so max £250 saving £100 + paint.. lots of rear clusters on ebay about £10 - £30.

Oh dear. there's nothing better to put you in a bad mood than damage to your Leon.
Still find a decent paint shop and it'll look good as new.
Best Wishes

Yeah had a look on ebay, and there is one on there for £180 primed + 20 squids delivery and an o/s rear light for £25 + £15 delivery...so pissed off with my self its unbelievable...

Plus i sold my old H&R suspension kit today for my polo GTi, thought that would be so extra money towards the new wheel/wheel refurb fund or christmas, but guess not...

And to think i've given other people so much stick for reversing into pillars and guess what i went and did!

oh my days...anyone no of a good sprayer in the dorset area?!

£15 delivery for the light? seems a bit high especialy when you compare to the £20 for the bumper.
Look on the bright side at least no damage was done to the metal work. might be an idea to invest in a reversing sensor you can get them for about £30:D

when i had a big scrape in my front bumper i went to a small body shop in Wool, by the railway line. was cheap, and they did a god job considering how faded the car was!

Cool cheers chaps,

Well a took it to a place in Yeovil, called Bumper Blunders. The owner assessed the damaged and said that he would be able to repair the bumper, and re-spray the whole rear bumper for £175. Which isnt too bad (he would have to reheat it and try and get it back to the original shape)...Although my thought are to purchase a new rear bumper off ebay (£200) and get it re-sprayed (£85) and fitted as the repair wont be perfect. It will always be on my mind when cleaning etc.

Whilst i was this i asked for a quote to touch up a full other spots on the car from the previous owner i shall note (I'm not actually not that bad a driver) which he quoted me £75 for.

I also enquired about having my wheels reburbed too. Which he would do all 5 for £200, if done all at the same time...so either thinking anthracite (like the megane sport wheel colour) or a very bright silver (but not chrome)...originally i was thinking flat black, but i'm thinking that would be too dark on the car being platinum grey and wont to keep the OEM(+) lookish. Any thoughts? (may have to start a new thread for this)? Plus update my progress thread too.

On at the same time os the car bits re-spray i was thinking of getting some mirror cap sprayed either flat of metallic black too, to go with the tinted light protectors that are in the pipe line. Then bonnet bra to help keep everything in order...(love or hate them, but i like them)

Sorry for the essay, I'm from Sherborne...yeah may just sort that signature :)

Cheers
