4 weeks ago i called up Premiere Seat in stoke and went through the automated system to get the parts section.
After 3 attempts of calling until the phone rang off with no answer, i finally got through. I gave the part number for the Flip key "S" badge and was told that the number matched the part i wanted, but nil stock, 3 days for delivery. I'm happy with this and request they contact me when it is in stock so i can get one delivered. 1 week later and no phone call, so i call back to enquire. I'm told they have it in stock (been in stock 3 days) and sorry for no contact. I accept this as an oversight and ask them to post one to me and provide card details and an address.
Another week later and no sign of it, so i call again and make another request for the same part that was apparently sent. They agree to send another one free of charge, and i wait. Another week and no sign, so i call again and explain that i'm still waiting for one of them to show up and ask them to confirm my contact number and address, and both are correct, so they agree to send yet another!
Today is the fourth week, and i still don't have one.
My nearest dealer is over 30 miles away (each way) and i only called the dealer in stoke as i bought the car from them and found them to be OK. Looks like i'm going to have make a journey to the dealer who took my money but didn't provide my goods which is 45 miles away
Anyone thinking of dealing with the parts department at that dealers should save money and time and go elsewhere
