pre-outs or hi/low convertor?

Am trying to get an amp running of a standard Ibiza Mk3 HU, I have the amp powered up but am getting no signal from hu to amp via a high/low level convertor, are pre-outs a better way to get a signal?

How have you got it wired up?

Have you got the high-to-low convertor in and using the phono connection on the amp?

Pre-outs are for connecting another amp

Yeah it's all connected but no sound...thinking pre-outs would give better quality sound though

The pre-outs are for if you have 1 amp already connected and want to connect another one using the same channels.
