Going to be totally stupid and honest here but what are do these do and what are the benefits of changing them? I know they are part of the suspension( I think) just want to gain some knowledge you know :D

powerflex are semi solid suspension bushes.
Bascially the more solid the bushes, the firmer the ride and more direct the steering is. Cabin vibration is increased.
In my opinion powerflex bushes are really good medium between driveability with stiffening up of the suspension and slight increased in cabin vibration. Have used them in my old saxo through out the car

normal car bushes are a hardened rubber, then next up is varieties poly, Nylon bushes which are slightly harder and then theres alloy which is only for hardcore rally/race cars as it undoes bolts with the vibrations.

this will be 1 of my many mods to come your talking about £150 for the full front and rear kit but it will be worth it as it tightens up the handling ;)

NO NO NO!!!!!

The powerflex bushes for the Mk4 ibiza are less than ideal.... the wishbone-rear bushes (which will have the biggest effect) should be replaced, the powerflex items are just inserts which have a habit of popping out..

a far better (and cheaper) solution is get the wishbone bushes from the ibiza cupra... which are solid rubber bushes :)

do a search for cupra bushes or udders and all will become clear :D
