Powered Aerial Lead

Hi all,
This may be an incredibly stupid question but.... how or where do you connect the blue wire from the powered aerial adaptor?

I've been trying to fit a JVC head unit into my Leon. Got the head unit connected to the car ok & everything was going swimmingly until I realised I couldn't connect the aerial. Did a bit research & went & bought a PC5-52 aerial adaptor from Halfords, read the instructions & tried to fit the blue wire into the block - 5th hole to match the blue & white wire from the head unit.

The terminal on the end of the wire doesn't seem to fit into the block & just falls out again? In the process of doing this I managed to snap the terminal off, but if I stick the bare wire into the block the radio reception is perfect, so it works & I'm guessing its the right place, it just won't stay in.

I went & bought another one & was very gentle this time, but its exactly the same problem, it won't stay in the block. I take it there's an easy solution to this but if someone could put it in simpleton terms I'd be very grateful.

Cut the spade terminal off the blue wire. you should have a remote/12v supply wire (normally blue) coming from your headunit. cut this wire and join it to the blue wire on the aerial adapter. job done!

Thanks for the replies, there's a blue wire with a white stripe from the head unit, I'll try connecting to that. Just as well I managed to snap the terminal off
