Power Steering warning light

Today the power steering failure warning light came on while driving, even tho the steering feels fine.

When I switch the engine off then on again the lights gone..... for about 10 mins then its lit again. Same thing happens every time I switch off/on as described.

Any ideas? Is this a common problem? I plan to get to the dealer to have it looked at anyway but thought if anyone has encountered this problem before can hopefully shed some light on it.

could be low fluid and where its slashing around in the bottle its trigering the sensor

as above first thing would be to check the fluid level.

Sorry my bad, it wasnt the PS light, it was the TCS light.

Had it checked out today and theyre not sure as some control unit is not responding so its booked in for monday for a proper checkup. Hope its something simple and CHEAP to fix eek
