power mirrors

hi all

I have had a search for this, I bought my LC about 6 weeks before xmas and was told it had power windows and mirrors what folded and go up when lock car. The fella i bought it off never showed me how to use it so never really known just pressed buttons on key it was working up until xams day now they.ve stopped i've done quick search and tried taking battery off for 10 mins didn't work. The mirrors still fold away using knob on drivers door panel but thats all. I'm getting a clifford alarm put on it next month and was told could wire all the mirrors and windows into it would really like it fixed before then.

AFAIK the standard mirrors only fold in with the mirror adjustment knob and don't operate from the remote... there is a company that sell an after market kit to make this possible though!

Best bet would be to get hold of the previous owner to see if he has any suggestions?

they were folding in though only tried windows once but they went up aswell got some instructions what says autowindows on it is that the company what sells the extra

just looked at the website on the bottom of instructions this is website http://www.autowindow.com/ its not a standard thing thought it was factory fitted

Yes mate - it's Autowindows that do the module...

Just did a quick search on here and found this thread which covers the auto mirror folding mod.

you need to use the wing mirror adjustment consol, turn the knob so it is facing upwards.
