for what its worth vagcom was reporting 10 g/s more with a catback and tip when i was comparing before and after runs, not 100% conclusive but shows an increase all the same. downpipe etc should show more, or at least make irt more driveable.

cat back makes no difference

3" DP and 100 cell cat make a great deal of difference!

BF fcuked up when i went there, so for one day i had cat back, and like i said it made only noise difference and then next day they did the 3" DP and sports cat and that made a world of difference... only other mods to the car were airbox and DV... so even on standard 225 map i felt a good difference!

id guestimate a solid 30lbs and 15bhp gain I got.

turbo kicked in 500 rpm earlier and held the power much better from 5k onwards!

DEFFINATELY worth the money!

Assuming the same as Miltek/APR parts - good spool up, and less restrictive top end

Not sure they're as imaginative as James' suggestion (30lbft would be a lot) but will move the available torque lower down the rev range.

i only "guestimated" 30lbs because i felt a BIG difference with it!

don't get hung on on peak numbers - it's still connected to an asthmatic turbo that is maxxed out.

it will make it more driveable because of the wider spread of torque, but unless you're increasing the boost, you can't see (much) of an increase in torque.

And if your existing map pretty much maxxed out the turbo, it can't push any more air through regardless.

As I stated - it'll lower the rpm your torque is available from (due to quicker spool up) and slightly increase top end.

or you can just add on bhp if it makes it easier to understand

tris just do it... i felt a GOOD difference and that was on standard map, so i would assume on a much more aggressive map you would feel the benifits even more! :)
