Just a question for the I.c.e boys, im running two JL audio 12v2 d4 subs at 1 ohm, powered by a kenwood 1600 w amp, problem im having is i think the cap is draining my battery when the car is stood up. Anyone have any idea's?

is that 1600rms?
even so, best to sell off the cap, and with the money, change the big3 cables under the bonnet, then you'll be fine. Caps are just an extra strain on the alternator.

Dont think kenny make such a powerful amp. Probably running 600-900rms. More likely the former. Power cap is a waste of money.

Cheers lads, im running 4 gauge cable for power and Earth ditched the cap now the Bass seems cleaner and louder. the amp is an Kenwood PS 811D mono amp if thats any use

cool, upgrade the battery negative to the chassis cable and it will be even better. When I get my car back I will take a pic of mine as its sooooooo easy to do and makes a big difference. ( its one of the big 3)
