power cap

just bought a power cap for my amp, i am running at about a 1000w powering one alpine 12inch alpine sub, some times my lights dim when i have it on loud, i thought the power cap might sort this problem, but from reading on here its seems some people claim that they drain yor car even more or spoil the base, can anyone give me some info on the subject. thankyou

im running 3000w amp powering 2 12inch vibe CBR's and was told a 1farad cap would stop my lights dimming so i was looking at investing but now im a little hesistant...lol

upgrade your battery earth and alternator earth,if no joy upgrade your battery-9/10 adding the extra earths solves it

power caps are a false economy when it comes to lights dimming,they are designed to keep the current to the amp constant,wont stop current to other items changing
