Hello

Great site by the way very informative, I have been through the FAQ section and have found it very useful.

I just have one question really. Do the Cupra R (225) come with a centre arm rest in the front as I have only seen one on all of the ads that I have looked at?

Any other advice about what to general look for would be greatly appreciated? Looking for a 225 with around 40k to 50k on a 04 plate or newer.

Cheers

they dont come with an armrest but its quite easy to fit one if thats your thing.

i personally havent had any real problems in almost 5 years but coil packs, MAFs, door seals and a few pipes cracking are the norm. nothing too major. would be good to take a laptop with Vagcom to check for faults codes with you.

good luck

As mentioned, armrest is an option - shouldn't be too hard to fit one yourself if you really want one, but be warned, they are known to get in the way of the handbrake when the armrest is down. Had one in mine fitted from the factory, was nice :)

I'm looking to come back to SEAT in the not-too-distant future, hopefully with another LC, or even better, an LCR. Good luck with your search!

hey pal, good choice of car. i bought my 04 LCR about 8 months ago now. great car.only had 2 problems to report, had a coil pack go, easy 2 replace, and irritatingly the slave cylinder went just before xmas but these things happen in any car.

all in all great buy, have never looked back.
