Possible ECU problem or Immobiliser !!help!!

Well here goes after the garage fixed my sump they called to say it wont start it keeps stalling all the time but it did this to me about a month ago and i replaced the Key coil reader which goes around the barrel and it worked but now its doing it all over again the garage think it might have something to do with my ecu as the instrument clocks and mileage dont show up and the car wont lock with remote key.

Has anyone else had any problems like this or can shed some light on this

Its either gonna be your key or your dash pod, i would lean towards the dashpod seeing as you have no display, I had the same problem with the car cutting out for over a year until i disregarded everything the dealership were telling me and got a local guy who runs his own business to replace the dashpod on his advice. Not had the problem since
