popping from exhaust

after recently buying an ibiza cupra it was ok driving and pulled well recently it hasnt been pulling as well and boosting wierd, also in the last few days my exaust has started to pop quite often? is this normal? what could it be!

i have ko3s, 3" d/p, jabba remap, forge DV, Fmic if this helps,

With those mods, id say yes its normal.

Worth getting it vagcom'd though if you think theres a problem.

Could be the increased heat....

search for "heat soak" and see if it matches the problems you have.....

I think my standard FR also has been commented to give a deep pop when lifting off.....just the last few days and in prev warm days...

May be worth while checking pipe work to fmic and dv etc to see incase any boost leaks for the pulling part

Mine pops when you lift off to change gear, normaly does it in 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th,

with those mods i'm suprised you haven't got flames! lol

mine pops all the time with just a k03.

all it is is just unburnt fuel being dropped into the exhaust, hence the pop.. my mates RS used to "Bang" when it did it...
Might be worth checking out as if it over fuels too much you can **** your turbo and your cat.

Mine used to pop all the time with KO3 and exhaust, since fitting a samco tip its stopped altogether? Is that cos its getting more air now?
